The Venue

Zonnevanger is nestled in the heart of Paarl, Western Cape — surrounded by the iconic Paarl Mountain, lush vineyards and the natural beauty of the Boland winelands.

We can accommodate a maximum of 150 guests comfortably across our ceremony and reception spaces. For intimate gatherings, our venue shines just as beautifully with as few as 20 guests.

Zonnevanger offers a beautiful ceremony garden, a reception hall, a bridal suite for getting ready, and stunning outdoor spaces perfect for photography.

Packages & Pricing

We offer four main packages: our Peak Season Full Day (8hrs), Off-Season Full Day (8hrs), Brunch Wedding (5hrs) and Intimate Morning Ceremony (3hrs). Each package can be customised to suit your vision.

Yes. Peak season (typically October–April, Saturdays) is priced differently to off-season weekends and weekdays. We also offer special promotional rates throughout the year.

All prices listed on our website are VAT exclusive. VAT will be added to your final invoice. Please factor this into your budget planning.

Venue hire includes exclusive use of the property for your chosen package duration, use of all ceremony and reception spaces, on-site parking, and a dedicated venue coordinator for the day.

Yes — weekday weddings (Monday–Thursday) are priced at a reduced rate from R19,500. Sunday pricing falls between our peak Saturday and weekday rates. Contact us for the most up-to-date pricing.

2026 pricing will be confirmed in November 2025. Couples who book before the price release will be locked in at the rate quoted at the time of their deposit. Please enquire for further details.

Catering

Yes — we offer in-house catering with a range of menus to suit different budgets and tastes. Our catering team has extensive experience in wedding hospitality and takes great pride in creating memorable dining experiences.

Absolutely. We cater for vegetarian, vegan, halaal, kosher, gluten-free and other dietary requirements. Please provide a full list of dietary needs at least 4 weeks before your wedding.

Planning & Logistics

Yes — a dedicated venue coordinator is included with every booking. They will be your point of contact throughout the planning process and will be on-site on your wedding day to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Please note that our coordinator manages venue logistics — we recommend also hiring an independent wedding planner if you require full event management.

Yes — you are welcome to bring in your own florist, photographer, DJ, band, cake supplier and other vendors. We have a preferred supplier list we're happy to share if you need recommendations.

All suppliers must comply with our venue policies and are subject to approval.

[Update with your noise curfew time] — we comply with local municipal noise bylaws. Music and amplified sound must end by the designated time. After this, the celebration can continue at a quieter level indoors.

We always have a wet weather backup plan in place. Our indoor spaces are beautiful in their own right and we will work with you in advance to plan for all weather scenarios, so you have nothing to worry about on your day.

Guests & Accommodation

Booking

Simply submit an enquiry through our contact form or give us a call. We will confirm availability for your preferred date and arrange a venue visit if you'd like to see the estate in person.
